Kayaking on Lovatnet Norway, 4K GoPro 11
This is a video with kayaking clips from Lovatnet in Norway.
I was asked by people to upload a longer high quality video without music from this lake. It is meant to be scrolled through for those that want to see the details in some of the areas of Lovatnet. This video only shows the area from Kjenndalstova to the rocks by the avalanche area. 1/3 inner parts of the lake.
I started from Kjenndalstova at the end of the paid road, as this is the place that has a lot of parking spots and a good spot for launching kayaks. I prefer to paddle here in the evening until sunset. At this time the lake is usually calmer and there are few people on the lake.
This was filmed with a GoProHero11 camera mounted on my helmet. It was filmed in fullframe mode , 8:7 aspect in 4K 60fps. Most of the clips are cropped at the top and bottom from 4K 8:7 to 4K 16:9. Some clips are wide angle. The wide angle clips were changed from wide to superview in GoPro Quik app. This stretches the 4K 8:7 aspect footage to fit a 16:9 aspect in a way that the top and bottom of the frame is not cropped away. 03:44 and 06:05 are superview aspect edits, where the full 8:7 video is shown in a 16:9 aspect. The superview looks a bit strange when I turn my head. This is the reason I always film in 8:7 wide and only sometimes edit it to superview in the quick app. That way I have more information and options than if I film in superview.
The video was recorded with protune on , -0.5 exposure compensation and high bitrate. It was edited on an iphone 11 using the GoPro Quik App

Alpacka Raft Refuge in Bergen Norway
Переглядів 2,8 тис.2 роки тому
First test of the Alpacka Raft Refuge in Oselva near Bergen Norway. The Alpacka Raft Refuge is a ultralight packraft weighing 2.5 kg (5.5lbs). It has a whitewater deck , cargo fly and the same leg room as a classic medium alpacka raft. It has smaller tubes and is a bit less stable, but is easier to roll and maneuver. The low weight makes it good for fast and light trips. I have attached standar...
Kayaking on the western coast of Øygarden , Norway , GoPro9

Kayaking west of Algrøy in Øygarden. Øygarden is an area with over 1500 islands close to Bergen, Norway. This area is exposed to the open sea and can often have difficult sea conditions. This was filmed one day after some wind in this area, but in bad weather the conditions are much rougher. Some of the outer islands in Øygarden have limited mobile coverage. I used a Wigkayaks Player525 seakaya...
SUP on Lovatnet Norway , GoProMAX and GoPro8
Переглядів 1,4 тис.2 роки тому
This was a short trip on Lovatnet lake in 2020 from Kjenndalen to the avalanche area by Ramnefjellet with Øyvind Heen from Fjords.com . He was using a kayak while I testet the GoProMAX from a SUP. The best way to reach this spot is to drive to the end of the Lovatnet lake (toll road) and park by Kjenndalstovo. The GoPro MAX was mounted on a stick that was attached to my PFD. I used the GOPRO QU...

Kayaking in Hardangerfjord from Øystese to Fyksesund, Botnen and back. This video is almost 1 hour long and are for those who want to see the details of this area. There is no music, only original sound. This is meant to be viewed as slow TV on a large screen. Fyksesund is a narrow fjordarm of Hardangerfjord. There are no roads to the end of the fjord and it is normally reached by hiking or wit...
Nærøydalselva Norway with packraft
Переглядів 3 тис.3 роки тому
This is a long unedited video of packrafting down the calm lower part of Nærøydalselva that ends up in Nærøyfjorden in Gudvangen in Norway. The video ends in Gudvangen in the Nærøyfjord. I decided not to cut away any parts so that viewers can fast forward and see all the parts of the river. Most of the video cuts were made to cut away cleaning of the GoPro lens. Because of the rain I went for k...
Hardangerfjorden Norway - 4K GoPro9 media mod with binaural mics
Переглядів 4,4 тис.3 роки тому
This is my first test using the GoPro9 with GoPro media mod and Roland CS-10EM binaural microphones/earphones. It was filmed in Simafjorden close to Eidfjord in Norway. Simafjorden is part of the Hardangerfjorden i Hardanger. There is some noise in this footage mainly because I had the microphones/earphones in my ears and the cables were hitting my helmet straps as I paddled. In the next record...

your video is perfect. so nice to enjoy this with you. no banter or having to watch you doing other things. if a video is labled "canoeing in Alaska" for example, the viewer believes they will enjoy views from a canoe, a peaceful journey, with views of wildlife and nature.. not lots of talking and putting up tents and other activities. sadly, others think this is necessary to include and it ruins the video. But you! *Happy sigh* i love that this video is EXACTLY as you labeled it. it's just you kayaking and the views and sounds of the water & nature. it's so beautiful. wish other channels would take note and do the same.

This is the perfect kayaking video. Head mounted camera so you can see a good bit of the kayak as it slices through the water, you can see the paddle dip in and out of the water and you can see the gorgeous surroundings. And no annoying music playing over it.

Hallo Tomasz, this is abolutly perfect - the scenery as well as the way of performing kajak-trips. You make me tingly! I plan on doing tours like this also, but it is a long way from Austria to the Bergen-area. So I would appreciate some help like: Do you live in that area? Can I meet you? What is the best time to make tours like this? Is it easy to rent a kajak there for private ventures? .... Thank you so far and please keep on publishing great kajak videos like this!!! Franz / Austria
